My Goals

I am running for the Mars Area School Board because I believe our youth are the bright lights of our community. Grade school years are formative and full of memories that shape a lifetime. I want to help ensure those years are supported by thoughtful leadership, sound policies, and a caring environment.

If elected, my goals for the district include:

  • Prioritizing the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and staff—both physical and psychological. Every member of our school community deserves to feel safe, secure, and supported each day, creating an environment where students can thrive and educators can do their best work.

  • Maintaining fiscal responsibility—ensuring taxpayer dollars are used wisely on facility expansion, maintenance and improvements, security measures, skill-building platforms, and meaningful educational investments.

  • Planning for growth—with our area expanding and construction ongoing, it’s vital to take a proactive approach to enrollment growth by addressing teacher, staffing, and facilities needs, and balance it with long-term sustainability.

  • Supporting educators—Student success begins with outstanding teachers and dedicated staff. I am committed to valuing their work and, by collaborating constructively with the teachers’ union, making sure Mars is a district where top talent can thrive and build lasting careers.

I am deeply committed to being a responsible steward of our schools, supporting both today’s students and tomorrow’s. Serving on the school board would be an expression of my compassion for children, my pride in this community, and my dedication to helping the Mars Area thrive for years to come.

“Rooted in integrity and guided by the Golden Rule, I will bring a sensible, compassionate voice to our school board.”
