I am running for a four-year term on the Mars Area School Board and respectfully ask for the support of district voters in the November 4, 2025 general election.
About me
Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, I have proudly called the Mars Area home for more than 10 years. My husband, Nick, and I live in Middlesex Township, where we are raising our two young boys. Our oldest will be starting Planet Preschool in November 2025, and like many parents in our community, I want to ensure that the Mars Area School District continues to be a place where children are nurtured, supported, and prepared for the future.
Professionally, I work in the Finance Department at MSA Safety in Cranberry Township as an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Finance Manager, where I oversee compliance with domestic and global regulations surrounding ESG reporting. I have been with MSA Safety for nearly a decade, previously serving in Investor Relations and Internal Audit roles, following three years in public accounting in external audit. My career has focused on analyzing complex regulations, internal controls, and financial data, and communicating their impact to executive leadership and various stakeholders to drive effective solutions. These experiences have equipped me with research skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively—qualities that I believe are directly relevant to serving on the school board.
Beyond my professional role, my most important title is “mommy.” My husband and I live by the Golden Rule and instill those same values of respect, empathy, and integrity in our children. As a candidate, I bring that same level-headed approach to decision-making, listening intentionally, and providing a sensible voice for our community.
