About me
Originally from Elizabeth, PA, I have proudly called the Mars Area home for more than 10 years. My family and I live in Middlesex Township, where we are raising our two young boys. Our oldest will be starting Planet Preschool in November 2025, and like many parents in our community, I want to ensure that the Mars Area School District continues to be a place where children are nurtured, supported, and prepared for the future.
Professionally, I work in the Finance Department at MSA Safety in Cranberry Township as an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Finance Manager, where I oversee compliance with domestic and global regulations surrounding ESG reporting. I have been with MSA Safety for nearly a decade, previously serving in Investor Relations and Internal Audit, following three years in public accounting (external audit). My career has centered on analyzing complex regulations, presenting their impact to executive leadership, and guiding organizations to act responsibly. These experiences have equipped me with research skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively—qualities that I believe are directly relevant to serving on the school board.
Beyond my professional role, my most important title is “mommy.” My husband and I live by the Golden Rule and instill those same values of respect, empathy, and integrity in our children. As a candidate, I bring that same level-headed approach to decision-making, listening intentionally, and providing a sensible voice for our community.
I am running for the Mars School Board because I believe our youth are the bright lights of our community. Grade school years are formative and full of memories that shape a lifetime. I want to help ensure those years are supported by thoughtful leadership, sound policies, and a caring environment.
